Friends...

I just realized I dont really have any, not real ones at least, every single one of them except maybe one of them pretty much thinks they are better than me, thinks ima loser, or worse, who knows, maybe by their standard I am, All I know is that by MY standards I am the best person I can be at this point in my life, I do my best to love others and be there for them, I do the best I can to get by in life with what ive got to work with, and if thats not good enough for them they can kiss my ass...

It's very dificult to find reliable people.
And it can also be difficult to be a reliable person.

I sometimes wonder how true my friends are.
But this does not seem to be a helpful way of thinking so I try to inhibit those thoughts.

Instead I just try to do my best not to do harm and to do as many good things that I can. The rest can sort itself out without me worrying about it.

yeah, its what ive tried to do for a long time, but ive realized when you know that a friend is a really bad friend, its kinda wrong and unfair to yourself for you to keep that friend around...I dunno though, im probably just blowing off steam and will continue to ignore their crap...

Again, hard to judge. But I think it is good to make friends with wise people and stay away from fools.

I agree, but its hard to judge others as fools, without acknowledging that in spite of my best intentions I am frequently a fool myself... but still, Id be even more of a fool to stay friends with those who use and betray me...

I'd say it's pretty wise to know your a fool.
Foolish might be not knowing it.

and pretty foolish to think oneself is wise?lol...Sorry, I find circular discussions a little bit entertaining, lol.

I heard something somewhere once, where it said something along the lines of "A foolish man thinks he knows everything, a wise man knows that he knows nothing." or something to that effect, I cant remember the exact quote, but it popped up in my head because of this conversation,lol...I just found it an odd quote, what with its strange logic, if one knows nothing, how can he know that he knows nothing? I guess thats part of the circular logic surrounding the more commonly believed meaning of the word "wisdom."...or maybe its just my cold medicine and lack of sleep talking,lol...
